Gazprom studies construction of LNG unit in the Irkutsk region

Gazprom currently studies the possibility of building and LNG unit in the Irkutsk region with the capacity of about 5 million tons, the Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergei Levchenko reported to the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Gazprom currently works on an option to start (the construction) a gas liquefaction unit in the near future, to provide us with LNG, "- Levchenko said.
