Rosneft comes to shelf of Yakutia

In mid-March, Rosneft announced a public hearing in Anabar, Bulun, Ust-Jansky and Allaikhovskiy districts of the republic in April 2016. The hearing won’t precede any large-scale works with drilling, or even explosions. Study of the shelf is planned in the next five years, in fact scientific exploration. According to prepared documents, the environmental impact will be negligible, no more than from the passage of merchant ships.

The Ust-Lensky license area of Rosneft is located 130 km from Ust-Olenka, 260 km from Bukovsky and 305 km from Tiksi. The distance to Uriing-Hai is about 150 km, to Saskylaha - about 250 km.
The nearest settlements from the Ust-Oleneksky license area are Ust-Olenek (145 km), Bykovsky (290 km) and Tiksi (335 km).
The closest to the area of at the Anisinsko- Novosibirsk license area are Bykovskii (440 km), Tiksi (490 km) and Nizhneyansk (500 km).
