Vankorneft reconnected its oil supply to Transneft’s system

​Vankorneft has recovered oil supply to the system of Transneft, the company reports.

According to the official representative of Transneft, I. Demin, at 5 p.m. the oil supply was recovered after the shutdown at 12 a.m. on May 5th.

Rosneft reported that on May 4th at the 338th km of the Vankor-Purpe oil pipeline the operative services of Vankorneft CJSC that hold a 24-hour monitoring found out the line failure. A group of the company’s specialists equipped with the necessary equipment was sent to the place.

The process of oil extraction didn’t stop. The repair will not influence on the execution of the extraction plan. The committee was found to find out the reason of the line’s failure and elimination of its consequences, Rosneft says.
