Slovak-Hungarian gas pipeline begins commercial operation.

The Slovak-Hungarian gas pipeline with the capacity of up to 4.38 billion cubic meters of fuel per year was launched into commercial operation, Vahram Chuguryana the information representative of the transmission system operator in Slovakia, the Eustream company, informs.

In the spring of 2014 the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico and his Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orban officially opened valves of a new pipeline. Since then, its work was postponed several times due to technical or other problems on the Hungarian side.
