China might transfer 2 oil chemicals plants to Russia

​The investment company from China “Lyaoni Van Yu Khe” considers an opportunity of investing about 88 bln yuans (more than $13 bln) into the transfer of 2 oil chemicals plant to Russia, chief engineer of “Lyaoni Van Yu Khe”, Tan Chzhivan said.

Our company plans to locate 2 plants in Russia. We think that there are perspective oil and gas sources. We want to place a plant on fertilizers production and a plant on polyethylene and carbamide production – transfer of production capacities from China with reconstruction and modernization.

Such a necessity arose due to the surplus of offer of these products in the market of China. Currently Lyaoni Van Yu Khe” holds 3 plants on fertilizers and polyethylene production in various provinces of China. A potential investor chooses sites in Russia, studies the market, sales perspectives, peculiarities of the Russian law, problems of taxation and possible preferences.
