"South Stream" to be frozen in Bulgaria until the resolution of the European Commission.

According to Rosen Plevneliev, the President of Bulgaria, works related to the construction of the "South Stream" within the whole country will be seized up to the point until a formal resolution of the European Commission. This information was obtained from Plevneliev on Tuesday, when the president spoke about the problems that must be solved by the technical government of the country in the next two months.

According to ITAR-TASS, the President of Bulgaria claimed that he supports the project to build a gas pipeline under the European rules, but the "South Stream" in Bulgaria will not be defrosted prior to the relevant decision of the European Commission. On July 22 Plevneliev stated about the need to suspend the works connected with the "South Stream".
