Gazprom: gas price at auction to be higher than average contract price

The deputy chairman of Gazprom, A. Medvedev, said he is sure that the price of gas sale at the auction would be higher than the average contract price of the company. I am sure the result of the auction will be higher than the average weighted price of our contracts, he said. He added that in future such a form of gas sale by means of gas auctions has good perspectives. The head of “Gazprom export”, E. Burmistrova, named its long standing partners (E.Оn, Engie) and traders (Vitol, Gunvor, Novatek Gas & Power etc.) and regional partners among the companies that had applied for participation in the auction.
