Gazprom still hopes to gain the Ukraine pipeline

Russia suggested to the Ukraine to create a consortium for the managing of the gas transporting system under the Belarus scenario, with tranfer of the GTS to the property of Gazprom, the Vice Minister of the Ukraine Y. Boyko says. The Ukrainian side suggested to found an equal right consortium.

Mr. Boyko claims that Russian gas transit via the Ukraine will continue independently from the result of the negotiations on the reduction the of gas price. The Ukraine promises not to allow any events that could complicate the life of the European gas comsumers. The transit is reliable and executed in full accordance with the applications made by Gazprom and the European states.
