Rosneft to ask more gas from Gazprom for Eastern petrochemical company

Rosneft has applied to Gazprom with a request to increase gas supplies for needs of the future Eastern petrochemical company (VNKhK). It was supposed earlier that Gazprom would supply 1.7 billion cubic meters of gas to VNKhK, now it is a question of 4.3 billion cubic meters.

Some amendments must be made in schemes of gas supply in the Primorsk region for demand increase of “blue fuel” deliveries, and 10-km branch from the gas main pipeline Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok to Nakhodka must be constructed. According to preliminary data, Gazprom isn’t interested in satisfaction of the Rosneft’s request.
