Total volume of oil supplies via the China-Kazakhstan pipeline exceeds 60 million tons

From the beginning of 2013,oil supplies via the China-Kazakhstan pipeline reached 8.23 million tons;on the results of the year this rate will exceed 12 million tons, the Administration of the Boertala-Mongolian Autonomous District of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reported.

The China-Kazakhstan pipeline, whose construction was started in 2004, connects Atasu of the Eastern-Kazakh region of Kazakhstan and Alashankou of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reported. Its total length is 962.2 km.
