Lukoil’s geologists solve the problem of effective development of mature deposits

​The scientific and practical seminar is held in Kogalym (Yugra) on the basis of the polytechnic college. The participants are more than a hundred of geologists- oilmen of Lukoil-Western Siberia Ltd. The workers of geological services and shops of the Group along with the representatives of the Tyumen Oil and Gas Institute discuss the issues of raising the efficiency of development of mature deposits in the Western Siberia.

The scientific workers of the Tyumen Oil and Gas Institute share the experience of implementation of the water flooding technology and managing this complicated process, beginning from the stage of projection and ending with making operational decisions. The specialists are sure that the optimization of the system of water flooding will allow to increase the volumes of hydrocarbons selection.
