The position of Deputy CEO for oil extraction has been introduced at Tatneft

​It is occupied now by R. Khalimov, who headed Elkhovneft.

R. Khalimov has been appointed the deputy CEO for oil extraction of Tatneft who previously worked as the head of the oil and gas extraction management of Elkhovneft. This position hasn’t existed previously. Chief engineer, deputy CEO of Tatneft, N. Ibragimov, used to control this direction.

R. Khalimov was born in 1965 in Tatarstan. He graduated from the Gubkin Oil Chemicals and Gas Industry Institute in 1987, Academy of National Economy at the Government of Russia in 2001, Tyumen State Oil and Gas University in 2004.

He started working in 1987 at NGDU Yamashneft as operator for oil and gas extraction.

In 1996 he was appointed the deputy head of the department for layer pressure maintenance.

In 1999 he is the chief engineer of the department of equipment and oil extraction technology of the Engineering department of Tatneft.
