Oil export from Russian and countries of the Caspian region to the Asia-Pacific region to increase 3 times by 2040 and to reach 4 million barrels of oil per day

Thus, according to the forecast of the organization, in 2013-2040, Asia Pacific countries will increase oil imports by 11 million barrels of oil per day to nearly 30 million barrels of oil per day by 2040. The main suppliers of oil to the APR will be the Middle East countries (their exports will increase by 7 million barrels per day by 2040), as well as Russia and the Caspian region. In addition, the OPEC forecasts that the world oil consumption will increase by 21 million barrels per day (about 23%) by2040 as compared with 2013 and will reach 111 million barrels of oil per day. According to the OPEC, the increase in demand for oil in China and India will be especially noticeable, and the demand in developing Asian countries will make up 71% of the total demand of all developing countries. At the same time, the OPEC forecasts the annual growth in the demand for oil in an average by 1 million barrels of oil per day through until 2019.
