Some facilities of program of Atyrau refinery modernization accepted in service

State Acceptance Commission has accepted some facilities of the program of Atyrau oil refinery modernization in operation, the PR Service of KMG-Processing and marketing reported on Monday.

"Technological installations of the first start-up complex for the production of aromatics at the Atyrau refinery were accepted in service by the State Acceptance Commission composed of representatives of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Energy, KazMunayGas, KazMunayGas - Processing and Marketing, Akimat of the Atyrau region, state regulatory agencies and contractors, "- the message says.

According to the information, the list of projects, approved by the State Commission, includes a catalytic reforming unit with continuous catalyst regeneration and capacity of 1 million tons of raw material per year and a unit for extraction of benzene and toluene.
