In Q1, Stakhanov ferroalloy plant reduced production by 64.6%

In Q1, Stakhanov ferroalloy plant reduced production by 64.6% to 17,500 tons, the Ukrainian association of ferroalloy producers says. Within the period, the plant reduced ferrosilicon production by 55.7% to 16,200 tons, and silicomanganese by 90.2% to 1,300 tons. In 2012, the plant reduced gross production by 19% to 168,800 tons.

In December 2012, the management of Zaporozhye and Stakhanov ferroalloy plants accused the council of the state enterprise Energorynok in the wrecking of the governmental order for the setting of economically grounded tariffs for power.
