Slovakia ready to support the start of reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine with full accordance to technical and legal norms

Slovakia is ready to support the start of reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine with full accordance to technical and legal norms, the Ministry of Economy of Slovakia claims. The Minister, T. Malatinsky says that realization of the project is in full competence of the operators of the gas transporting systems Eustream and Ukrtransgaz.

At this stage, it’s important to concentrate on the technical aspects of the execution of the reverse gas supplies via Slovakia. The time is expiring due to the lack of readiness of Ukrtransgaz to the negotiations and the closure of the documents elaborated under the initiative of the EC for more than a year. The Ministry supports the standard procedure of preparing of Eustream to gas reverse including closure of the memorandum about mutual understanding.
