Bashneft privatization to be settled next week

Next week the Russian government is to decide on the terms and schedule of privatization of Bashneft’s governmental stockholding, the first deputy of the Russian ministry of energy and the chairman of Bashneft’s board of directors A. Texler informed. According to him, not only the time but possibly also the size of the stockholding offered to investors, will be decided upon. Texler stated that the government’s main requirement is the maximum premium to the share price.
