The commercial launch of the Eastring pipeline at the end of 2018 is similar to raising the "white flag" by the European Union. The Memorandum of Understanding between the parties of the Eastring gas pipeline project, which could stretch from the Slovak-Ukrainian border through Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria to Turkey's border with Bulgaria and Greece, would probably be signed in Riga on May 21-22 on the sidelines of the summit of the Eastern Partnership, a diplomatic source in Brussels told RIA Novosti.
