MMK to expand its presence in the Azeri market

​«Caspian Oil&Gas-2015» workshop took place in Baku. MMK participated in it.

The main focus was made on the products for the oil and gas sector which is actively developing in the region: proved oil reserves at the Caspian shelf are assessed at over 10 bln tons.

In large infrastructure projects on oil and gas transportation of the Caspian the products of the mill-5000 of MMK might be required. The mill produces high-quality tubing stock for producers of large diameter pipes. Due to its unique characteristics MMK participates in the majority of large pipeline projects in the CIS.

Azerbaijan actively constructs pipelines for oil and gas pumping. Among them are Baku-Novorossiysk, Baku-Supsa, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, TANAP. The realization of the largest project on the foundation of  new oil and gas processing and oil chemicals complex near Baku has stated.
