Novak may head Gazprom’s Board

The Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak could be elected as the Chairman of the Gazprom’s Board of Directors, several sources close to the company report.

The chairman shall be elected at the first meeting of the new Board following the annual meeting, which this year will take place on June 26th. From 2008, the Gazprom’s Board of Directors was led by Viktor Zubkov, from 2002 - Dmitry Medvedev.
