Russia stays the main gas supplier to the EU. Nord Stream-2 is a good project which provides gas import to Europe. It will be necessary there soon. The entire infrastructure will be ready for that, he said.

Nord Stream-2 stays an obstacle for the EU Commission which protects its idea of diversification of suppliers and liberalization of the gas market of the EU. Nord Stream-2 is used by 80% of its capacity only as Germany doesn’t allow to pump by Opal.

The head of Shell plans to negotiate with the Governments of the UK, the Netherlands and other EU countries so as to come to the conclusion by the vitally important pipeline for Europe.
