Azerbaijan will increase Shakh-Deniz gas purchases from 2015

From 2015, Azerbaijan will rapidly increase gas purchase from the Shakh-Deniz oil and gas condensate deposit. SOCAR closed the agreement about price and minimal volume of gas purchase from Shakh-Deniz. The agreement is closed for the period since January 1 2014 until June 30 2018. In accordance with the agreement, in 2014, Azerbaijan will buy 0.65 billion cubic m of gas from Shakh-Deniz. Purchase will be by 1.3 billion cubic m in 2015-2017, and 0.64 billion cubic m in 2018.
