Max Petroleum Plc successfully drills operating well at Zhana-Makat field and starts to drill at Borkyldakty field

The oil and gas company Max Petroleum Plc, which specializes in exploration and production in Kazakhstan, reported that the operating well ZMA-A21 at the Zhana-Makat field had been successfully drilled to 861 meters today and, in accordance with expectations, revealed hydrocarbons in Neocomian and Jurassic sandy reservoirs. According to the company, it plans to complete the well and launch it in the near future. The drilling rig ZJ-30 of the company Zhanros Drilling will be moved to the West Sagyz field for drilling of the appraisal well SAGZ-5.
