OMK is eager to take back Chusovsky plant

OMK is eager to take back the Chusovsky plant and to build there one of the Russian largest pipe rolling complexes. It used to be the company’s property but belongs to MIK CJSC since September 2012. The Cypriot Jalpark Company Ltd, affiliated to OMK has appealed to the Federal Antimonopoly Service with a request to purchase 100% in MIK CJSC. The verdict has not been made as yet. FAS has made a pause for 2 months, and has requested  additional data. If the transaction is successful, then OMK will become nearly the sole holder of the plant. This operation is likely to be a necessary step for realization of new pipe production at the plant.
