NOVATEK gets a license for LNG export

The largest gas producer NOVATEK has received a license for the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG). “The license was signed by the Ministry of Energy, A.Novak on September 5th,” deputy Minister of Energy K.Molodtsov said to ITAR-TASS.
In August, the Ministry of Energy got the right to grant licenses for an export of LNG, according to the government order. It was the Ministry of Industry and Trade before.
According to the law on the liberalization of LNG export, signed last year, Rosneft, “Yamal LNG” project with participation of NOVATEK and Gazprom can export gas.
