Shell may become partner of Gazprom in Baltic LNG

Gazprom and the Anglo-Dutch company Shell have started commercial negotiations on the Baltic LNG project. According to the Prime, this was announced by head of Gazprom Alexei Miller.

"At the East Economic Forum the talks with head of Shell Ben van Bearden were held, we agreed that we would start the commercial negotiations for the Baltic LNG project. Shell is our strategic partner, the Sakhalin-2 project - the LNG plant - is the most effective among LNG plants in the world, and we plan that Shell will also be our partner in this project,"- said Miller.
