SOCAR and Petronas: addition to the memorandum of understanding

SOCAR and Petronas (Malaysia) signed an additional to the memorandum of understanding last week in Baku in the framework of the visit of the delegation headed by the President and CEO of Petronas, D. Van Zulkifli Van Ariffin.
At the meeting with the President of SOCAR, R. Abdullaev, the head of Petronas said that he is interested in the deepening of joint work with SOCAR.
SOCAR’s head said that there are good opportunities for the development of cooperation in the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan and the safety of invested funds is secured in full.
Abdullaev reported about the realization of Shakh-Deniz-2 and foundation of the Southern Gas corridor saying that the works are held by the schedule.
