Gazpromneft successfully completes program of drilling within experimental-industrial development of the Novoportovskoye field

Gazpromneft has successfully completed the program of drilling within the experimental-industrial development of the Novoportovskoye field – one of the largest current fields in Yamal, the company’s press centre reported.
The operation of the third horizontal well, drilled at the second cluster site, was begun at the Novoportovskoye field. The length of the horizontal part of the new well exceeds 930 meters, and its daily yield reaches 210 tons of oil that is by 50% than planned rates.
Thus, today eight operation wells work at the deposit: five at the first cluster site and three at the second one. At the same time, the yield of six wells exceeds the projected rates two times on the average.
