Oil production at the Kashagan deposit made up 60 thousand barrels a day, S.Mynbaev, the head of “KazMunaiGaz” said.
“There arrive significant investments in oil-and-gas sector of our country and implemented large scale projects every year. One of the projects is Kashagan. Oil production at the deposit make up 60 thousand barrels a day,” Mynbaev said at an opening of the VIIIth Eurasian forum “KazEnergy”.
“This is a significant event for us. We expect oil production increase up to 108 million tons a year by 2025 (79 million tons in 2014),” he said.
