Polish government is about to start negotiations on gas price reduction with “Gazprom”

The Polish Government maps out to start negotiations with “Gazprom” concerning the price of the gas, supplied to the republic. Vice-premier of Poland Janusz Piechociński said.

“We think it’s high time to reconsider the rates for Central and Eastern Europe,” he said. “The market is more likely to be a market of the  purchaser than the supplier.”

According to Janusz Piechociński, they also hold negotiations on the provision of the security of supplies and a possibility of the transit use of the Yamal gas pipeline.
