Russia: Oil extraction increased by 1%, gas – by 1.4% for first 9 months of 2013

In January-September 2013,the extraction of oil and gas condensate in the RF increased by 1% compared to 9 months of 2012, the Ministry of Energy reports. Gas extraction increased by 1.4% - to 484.4 billion cubic metres.

In September 2013,the extraction of oil with condensate increased by 1.3% compared to September 2012 – to 43.1 million tons. The extraction of gas increased by 6.6% - to 53.2 billion cubic metres.

For the first 9 months Gazprom has reduced gas extraction by 2.1% - to 344.45 billion cubic metres. In September the company increased gas extraction by 4.9% - to 37.8 billion cubic metres.

For the first 9 months,the export of Russian oil has reduced by 2.6% - to 175.6 million tons, in September – by 1% - to 19.9 million tons. Since the beginning of the year gas export has increased by 4.7% - to 142.65 billion cubic metres, in September – by 26.9% - to 17.9 billion cubic metres..
