LUKOILhas implemented two level technology for APG utilization

LUKOIL-Perm has used two level utilization technology for the first time, is said in a statement of the company. The use of microturbines of Capstone at the gas-turbine stations (GTPP) has contributed to the implementation of the innovation. Electric power is generated during the first stage becuase of the utilization of gas in microturbines. It is then directed for the needs of the oil and gas production department. The combustion gas from gas recovery arrives at the gas boiler during the second stage. The boilers generate thermal energy for the hot-water supply and the heating of a separate unit of the department –the preliminary water removal unit “Baklanovka”.
