Export of ferrous metals to the non-CIS countries is up by 6.5%

The share of metals and steel products in the total value of export to the CIS countries amounted to 9.5% in January-October 2015 compared to 7.7% during the same period last year.

“In comparison with January-October of 2014 the total worth of export of the product fell by 15.2%, while physical exports rose by 6.5%. Physical volume of supplies of ferrous metals and articles increased by 5.4%, including cast iron - by 17.5%, semi-finished steel - by 6.7%. Shipment of ferroalloys decreased by 16.6%,” the press service of the Federal Customs Service stated.
