SOCAR and Tecnimont sing contract on construction of polyethylene plant

On February 5, SOCAR and the Italian company Maire Tecnimont signed EPC contract as part of the project of construction of a polyethylene plant.
The contract with Maire Tecnimont S.p.A provides for design, equipment procurement and construction (Engineering, Procurement and Construction, EPC) of the enterprise for the production of polyethylene. The total value of the contract amounts to $180 million.
