Lukoil increases resource base in Timano-Pechora oil and gas province
Lukoil increased by more than 6 times the volume of recoverable reserves at the East-Lambershore deposit located in the north of Komi having reached the rate of 42.218 mln tons.
The deposit was discovered in late 2011, at that moment the initial recoverable C1+C2 reserves were assessed at 6.948 mln tons of oil. Within 4 years in conformity with the approved by Lukoil program of geological exploration works, 7 exploratory wells were drilled with the total driftage of 26 thousand m of rocks.
In 2015, 1.782 mln tons of oil were extracted at the East-Lambershore deposit. The volume of accumulate extraction from the start of development at the deposit makes up 4.568 mln tons.
Currently the deposit’s development and construction of infrastructure go on.
The operational fund is 15 wells.
