Mikhelson: We sell foreign gas in Europe and are ready to purchase gas from Gazprom export

​Novatek intends to purchase gas from Gazprom export and sell it in the European market, L. Mikhelson said.

We sell alien gas in Europe and are ready to purchase gas from Gazprom export for its further sale in the European market. The company has been working in the European market for 4 years already and sells gas by the long-term contracts, he said.

On March 2nd 2016 it became clear that A. Novak ha sent a letter to V. Putin asking to grant Novatek the access for gas export to Europe.

Novatek suggests allowing its Swiss affiliate - Novatek Gaz & Power Gmbh – to ship gas extracted by the JV Arcticgas (held by Novatek and Gazprom Neft) to Europe.

Novatek suggests Gazprom buying gas of Arcticgas at the price of the export netback.

In fact, A. Novak asked Mr. Putin to support the idea of Novatek.
