Amurmetall to be prepared for sale in June of the current year

As the Kommersant has got to know, plant Amurmetall, which is in receivership currently, will be put up for sale as a single lot in the summer. Now property is evaluated at the company, where receivership was extended for another six months recently. Experts believe that it will be difficult to interest metallurgists with this proposal even taking into account the improvement of production figures of Amurmetall.

The only ironworks in the Far East Amurmetall may be put up for sale in June. This was said by head of the Department of Industry, Technology and Introduction of Scientific and Technical Programs of the Khabarovsk Krai’s Ministry of industry, Alexander Chukavin. "Now we wait for results of the property evaluation, after which the company will be put up for auction. Different variants for the sale were considered, including sale of workshops, but eventually we decided to sell it as one lot," - said Chukavin. He hasn’t been able to name the supposed starting value of the enterprise; there is also no information about potential buyers.
