The construction permit for the Albanian section of Trans Adriatic Pipeline is received.

The consortium for the development of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) project has received  permission to build the Albanian section of the pipeline, TAP informed on Tuesday.

The permit was issued by the National Territorial Board of Albania, headed by Edi Rama, the Prime Minister.

"This is one of the most important permits issued for TAP by the Albanian authorities. This resolution allows the consortium to start construction work in Albania", - TAP informed.

According to the report, the construction work will begin in Albania in 2015 with upgrading and construction of roads and bridges. Next the construction of a pipeline and the construction of other objects associated with gas transportation infrastructure will begin.
