Antimonopoly Committee of the Ukraine has blocked a fuel tender of “Ukrzaliznytsy” by a claim of unknown company

On April 8th the Antimonopoly Committee of the Ukraine has blocked the fuel and oil purchase by “Ukrzaliznychpostach”. The press service of “Ukrzaliznytsy” said that on April 9th the offers for the tender were supposed to be released.

The Antimonopoly Committee of the Ukraine explains its decision by the claim of “Energo-Resource” Ltd. on discriminatory conditions of requirements in the documentation of the tender. The Antimonopoly Committee of the Ukraine acknowledges the claims and says that the existing materials are not enough to make a decision on the absence of presence of the violation, however, the tender is postponed until the claim is considered.

The company that has filed a claim is unknown in the market and it hasn’t addressed Ukrzaliznychpostach for explanations and consultations, Ukrzaliznytsy says.

Ukrzaliznytsy reminds that this is not the first case when due to the claim on discrimination filed by an unknown company, the Antimonopoly Committee of the Ukraine blocks tenders or the supply of products for the railway sector.
