Ukrtransgas: Gazprom increased daily gas transit via the Ukraine

As of April 9th, the volume of the Russian gas transit is 182 mln cubic m a day, the head of the press service of Ukrtransgas, M. Belyavsky says.

On April 1-7 Gazprom sharply increased the daily volume of the Russian gas transit via the Ukraine, Ukrtransgas says.

As of April 7th, the transit volume made up 194.291 mln cubic m, which is the highest rate from the beginning of the month and the beginning of the year. The minimal volume of transit in April was 174.731 mln cubic m.

Ukrtransgas on April 7th transported 194.2 mln cubic m to Europe which is a record from the beginning of 2015. On April 7th 2014 the transit of the Russian gas made up 185.2 mln cubic m, -5% against 2015.

In total in 2015 the transit of the Russian gas via the Ukraine made up 1.3 bln cubic m.
