In January – May, Interpipe Steel reduced steel smelting by 24%

In January – May, Interpipe Steel reduced steel smelting by 24% to 376,000 tons. In May, steel smelting was 88,000 tons compared to 65,000 tons in April.

The electric steel smelting complex is the main project for Interpipe aimed to provision and pipe and wheel production with own steel intermediates. Interpipe is one of ten world largest seamless pipes producers, and the third largest one-piece rolled railway wheels producer in the world.
