Turkmen gas is approaching Europe

One of the key clients of Gazprom plans to buy Turkmen gas via Iran.
Private Turkish companies have agreed to buy 2 billion cubic meters of Turkmen gas through Iran, Turkish Energy Minister T.Yildiz stated to Reuters. Ankara wants to increase the purchases up to 10 billion cubic meters. He has given no details of the Turkmen project. The representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Turkey, Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan and “Turkmengaz” have given no comments.
