New record of commercial drilling speed was set in Uvat

RN-Uvatneftegas Ltd (Rosneft’s affiliate) has set a new record of commercial speed of drilling on the continental part of Russia. At the construction of the well #2267 of the Ust-Teguss deposit the commercial drilling speed was 11,988 m per unit a month. The well with the depth 2,639 m was drilled within 6.5 days.
The previous record of commercial drilling speed, which was also set at the Uvat project (November 2015, the South-Gavrikovsky deposit) was exceeded by 242 m per unit a month. The application of the well logging method (online geophysical survey method) as well as the change of the technological scheme of execution of drilling operation allowed to reach new record results.
