Rosneftegas ready to immediately follow the Government order on Rosneft’s privatization

​Rosneftegas is ready to immediately follow the Government order on Rosneft’s privatization, the acting CEO of Rosneftegas, G. Bukaev, said.

Rosneftegas is under the control of Rosimuschestvo and is activity is regulated by the Government orders. Unlike Bashneft’s and Alrosa’s privatization, there is less opportunity to forecast the periods of privatization.

Previously the chairman of CNPC, Van Ilin, said that CNPC s ready to consider an opportunity of participation in the privatization of Rosneft. CNPC already holds a small package of shares. And in case of increasing the stake CNPC would be interested in the control over the company.

In January the President Putin announced of the Government decision to sell in 2016 the stakes in Rosneft, Bashneft, VTB, Alrosa, Sovkomflot. It is planned to make about 500-550 bln rubles on the privatization of Rosneft. According to the Minister of Finance, A. Siluanov, it will be positive for the company. The President’s assistant and chairman of the Board of Rosneft, A. Belousov, considers the main variant of the company’s privatization to be the sale of 195 of shares to a strategic investor. It will allow to make the maximum premium.
