Net profit of GOGC is up by 16% in 2013

The net profit of the Georgia Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) increased by 16% in 2013 against 2012 and made up 94.3 million lari ($53.3 mln). An international audit company KPMG made a financial report on the activity of GOGC, they said in the company.

Under the report, the operating profit and EBITDA of the company also went up. In particular, the revenue of the company increased by 9% and made up 325.8 million lari ($184.1 mln), operating income – by 21% and made up 100.4 million lari ($57 mln), EBITDA – by 7% and made up 104.7 million lari (59.2 mln) in 2013 against 2012.

The increase of profit on natural gas sale made up 4%, on gas transportation via main gas pipelines-8%, oil transportation – 3% in 2013 against 2012.
