Gazprom gets new face – the monopoly acknowledges affiliation with Rosneftegaz

Gazprom has found a way to avoid an obligatory offer to the amount of up to 8 billion rubles to the minority shareholders of gas-distributing organizations, bought from Rosneftegaz. The monopoly has decided to acknowledge this company its affiliated entity. But now Rosneft may become a part of the same group of entities, as Gazprom and this may lead to corporate problems – for example, the FAS may review the approval of deals on the purchase of BP-TNK and Itera by the oil company..
