In January – August, Surgutneftegaz extracted 40.9 million tons of oil

In January – August, Surgutneftegaz extracted 40.8885 million tons of oil, by 1.1% more than last year. Gas yield was 80.8 billion cubic m.

Within the period, Surgutneftegaz shifted over 3.5 million m of rock, including 140,000 m of prospecting and explorative drilling, by 8% more than last year.

In 2012, Surgutneftegaz increased oil production by 1% to 61.405 million tons. Within the coming years, Surgutneftegaz is going to stabilize oil production at a level of 60-62 million tons, and to increase oil production in Yakutia at 8 million tons a year.
