Gazprom Geological Exploration has completed geophysical research in the Okhotsk Sea for Sakhalin-3 project

Gazprom Geological Exploration has completed the 3D seismic exploration within the Eastern Odoptu license site at the Okhotsk Sea shelf for Sakhalin-3 project, the company’s press-service reports. It held the geophysical research with The Sea Arctic Geological Exploration Expedition JSC with attraction of Viking Vision ship. They executed seismic exploration at an area of 1,200 sq. km.

The Eastern Odoptu license site is characterized by complicated geological composition. The work executed enables it to determinate resource base of the site and to ground in the details setting of the prospection and exploration drilling, the CEO of Gazprom Geological Exploration Ltd, A. Davydov says.
