Ministry of Energy: it is necessary to develop APG processing capacities

By 2020 all oil and gas companies of Russia will reach the set by the Government in 2015 maximum possible APG burning level at the volume of not over than 5% of the produced volume, the Minister of Energy, A. Novak, said.
The requirement of maximum 5% is currently realized by Surgutneftegas. Other companies have significantly progressed in this direction. We expect that by 2020 this rate will be reached by all companies, A. Novak said.
According to him, the growth of APG utilization level in general is not the most important problem. This is an intermediary goal. It is necessary to develop the capacities on its processing, stimulate the demand for semi-finished products, he thinks.
