The Crimea produces enough natural gas to meet the needs of the peninsula. The republic's authorities are going to offer the excess fuel to the Ukraine at a reasonable price.
As the Minister of Fuel and Energy of Crimea, Sergei Egorov reported, the drilling of new gas wells has begun in the Crimea. It is expected that the gas production will reach 300 million cubic meters per year. In March of the next year, six wells will be launched.
